Fantasia Villas are a company who rents luxury villas to ultra-wealthy tourists around the world. They operate both as a b2b and b2c, targeting travel agency partnerships and directly booking guests. The company wanted to launch a new vacation rental website (stbarthelemyvillas.com) separate from their original site, within two months. Their intent was to create a subsidiary brand to target current and potential guests looking to book a luxury villa in St. Barthelemy. They hired Josh to create SEO-rich content and contribute to designing the marketing and sales funnels for their new website.
Partnering with the SEO team, Josh used SEMrush and Excel to build a shared, brand-wide keyword strategy for the website. He independently developed content strategies for the website’s blogs and on-page copy. Through Notion, he managed projects with international teams and reported directly to the CEO and Marketing Director. He also conducted brand audits, researching the competitors, company and the market for the vacation industry within the St. Barthélemy region, in order to create content that would streamline the booking process for potential guests.
At Fantasia Villas, Josh developed on-page content with clear CTAs that helped users through the booking process. He created a series of blog articles, acting like a regional guide, informing users about St. Barthélemy’s top restaurants, destinations and island activities. Josh led the Booking Pages Project, managing a small team to produce 150+ listing pages within a short time frame while juggling other projects.
After the launch of the website, Josh expanded the site’s content by creating additional guides, blog articles, and dedicated chef and butler service pages. Considering the site’s future, he developed an easy-to-use archive of tutorials to equip future marketing teams with the tools and processes needed to continue producing high-quality content. Additionally, he consulted on the brand’s evolving social media strategy, advising on tone, positioning, brand-consistent content, partnerships and long-term engagement opportunities.
