Hemera Growth Group are a marketing firm that was contracted to handle a brand refresh for a large enterprise: Meraki Resources. They were updating their content and that of their subsidaries’, and revamping their social media presence. Josh created SEO-rich content for their websites and engaging posts for their socials. He collaborated with internal and external teams as well as third-party developers on varying projects. Josh also set up the company’s dashboards for future teams to use for tracking KPIs.
At Hemera, Josh used SEMrush to develop brand-wide keyword strategies for each subsidiary’s website. He designed page layouts in Figma so he could meet with Meraki Resources GMs to refine content and direction for their web presence. He managed project workflow in Notion with the internal Hemera Growth Group team while reporting to the fractional CMO within Slack, Zoom and Microsoft Teams. Josh conducted market- and competitor research, before creating content that significantly lifted Meraki’s websites up into Google’s top five results in SERPs for many brand-relevant keywords.
At Hemera, Josh tailored clear and actionable Looker Studio dashboards for each of Meraki Resource’s subsidiaries. He integrated website analytics, social channels, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Facebook, and LinkedIn data into easy-to-read reports for the stakeholders to use when tracking KPIs.
Josh created clear, step-by-step tutorials for marketing tools used by internal teams. With these guides, current- and future marketing teams could design keyword strategies, optimize their workflow with Notion, or navigate any updates to WordPress. These tutorials were created to help marketing teams with onboarding and ensure effective use of the company’s marketing tools.
Bluepoint Construction and Forbidden Mechanical, two of Meraki’s subsidiaries, needed a social media manager. Josh was tasked to take over their accounts. He created engaging posts on a routine schedule. It boosted their audience’s numbers and conversions and one marketing campaign in particular helped Bluepoint Construction secure several multimillion-dollar projects with their clients.
Josh was solely responsible for organizing and archiving the company and clients’ content within Google Workspace and SharePoint. This helped streamline the workflow of Hemera’s internal team, setting up current- and future marketing teams for long-term success.
