IndigiFilm Media are an Indigenous-owned film/TV production company. They were promoting their first feature film. They hired Josh as a brand manager to handle internal marketing campaigns, design their website and collaborate with external marketing teams on other media campaigns.
Josh designed and built a website for IndigiFilm Media (currently under re-construction) using WordPress and the Elementor web builder plugin. It included constructing the website around a marketing funnel that promoted the client’s feature film: Cold Road. The movie was set to play in theatres across Canada so we had to guide moviegoers with a clear user journey toward converting with showtime backlinks. After the extended theatrical run, we shifted the funnel to promote their debut on major streaming platforms. Because of our marketing efforts, we were able to get the movie to reach the top 5 of Apple downloads at it’s initial release.
Cold Road premiered at the Rio Theatre and Josh arranged a photographer for the event. He made sure there was an ample amount of photos for future social media posts which involved snapping photos of the pre- and post-show talks with Kelvin Redvers and Roseanne Supernault and a dedicated area where the moviegoers could snap photos with the film’s director and lead actress, creating a library of authentic content for future marketing use.
